A counselor-in-training with a background in ABA therapy who brings a genuine desire to help and a belief that healing begins when people feel truly heard without judgment.

BACKGROUND

About Kaziyah

Kaziyah is a Counselor-in-Training who entered the counseling field due to the natural desire to help others. Before pursuing counseling, Kaziyah worked as an ABA therapist for over a year, providing support to children with autism. While ABA therapy allowed her to make a meaningful impact, Kaziyah realized her passion extended beyond supporting one population. This inspired her to pursue counseling so she could provide more care to everyone in the community. She values building strong therapeutic relationships and believes healing begins when people feel genuinely heard without judgement.

METHODS

Kaziyah's approach

Kaziyah's approach is rooted in the belief that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation of meaningful change. She draws on her background in ABA therapy while bringing a person-centered lens to every session — meeting clients where they are, listening without judgment, and helping them feel genuinely seen. Whether working with children, teens, or adults, Kaziyah focuses on building trust first and letting the work grow from there.
